An idea sprouts in the writer’s mind. It takes form and shape. The writer is ready to deliver it into the world. He starts writing. Sometimes the words flow like water, unhindered and effortlessly. Sometimes, it takes an effort to write the next sentence. The words are stuck up and refuse to grace the writer’s mind. At such times he feels restless. Sometimes the writer leads and the storyline proceeds. At other times, the characters dictate the terms and conditions of the story. Then the writer obeys and allows to be led by the characters in his story. Sometimes the story is a pure figment of the writer’s imagination. At another time, it is a reflection of the writer’s own life and times. Taking on the inspiration and setting aside the hurdles, the writer writes on.
